On Book Riot, librarian and writer Katie MacBride has a guest post advising readers not to be reluctant to tell their librarian they read ebooks. It’s an interesting little post, though it feels a little like it’s five years or so past due. Every library I’ve seen lately has big, hard-to-miss posters and other displays telling their patrons they offer free ebook checkout.
Still, some people may not even have ventured into a library in quite some time, so they may be a little behind the times. And in that sense, MacBride’s advice that librarians are happy people want to read at all, regardless of how, is well taken.
